Item Description: The watch chain is 14K rolled gold plate, it has a 1/4" engraved cube box on a 3 strand mesh chain. The gold plate is very good for its age, there are no spots worn through the heavy rolled gold plate.

Item Description: The Victorian watch chain has a early imitation of pinchbeck fob, the round seal has a engraved intaglio picture of a Roman warrior in a black set, the back of seal is a Carnelian color set. The swivel watch loop clasp is signed "Standard C Co",. There is a little wear to some of the rolled gold plate metal which would be expected in this antique vest watch chain

1895 Victorian Vest Pocket Watch Mesh Chain with Fob

 Item No: B-58 Victorian Pocket Watch Mesh Chain with FOB
Item Description: Victorian rolled gold plate and brass mesh chain pocket watch fob. Signed HFB on the swivel watch clasp for H. F. Barrows & Co. The signet is not engraved, the fob seal has no engraving on it, the vest pocket clip works good. The mesh chain is a lighter color than the pictures show. All rolled gold plate is good on the findings and it looks like the mesh chain was meant to be a little darker then the rest.

1885 Victorian Hair Watch Chain

 Item No: D-1857 "1885" Victorian Hair Pocket Watch Chain
Item Description: 1885 Victorian hair with gold findings watch chain. This was given to James D Sparks around 1885 by his sister, James daughter gave it to Leta E. Hitsman in 1980, the paper comes with it for verification. There is a one inch area close to the initial S pendant that is frayed but it is strong enough to hold a watch if one desires to wear it. The initial S has a woven hair insert.
