Item Description: The Victorian stickpin has seed pearls claw set in a gold metal, the flower and stem are a light pink enamel. There is no karat mark for the gold but it tests at 14K with the acid test, most of these old Stickpins did not have a hallmark as they were made before the precious metals act went into effect.

Item Description: The Victorian stickpin has claw set red ruby rhinestone with a small open back crystal set. There is a mark on the back of the crown, APD., then the hole for the open back crystal set that drilled out almost all the last three letters.

Item Description: The stickpin has a yellow brown labradorite set which has a sheen that sweeps across the stone and breaks up in to different colors of blue, gold and some green. It is bezel set in sterling silver.

Moonstone Stickpin

Item Description: The stickpin has a moonstone that has a foil backing on it, it is bezel set in yellow gold plate metal not the color the picture shows. The Moonstone has a sheen called adularescence, when foiled with gold foil it gives of a gold cloud of light at certain angles. There is no safety nib with this stickpin.

Item Description: The coat / scarf pin has a lovely quartz set, it shows internal fractures and gas pockets that disperse the light with a sheen of fire brilliance. It has a heavy twisted 2 1/8mm diameter x 2 7/8" pin shank for coats or scarfs.

Item Description: The dark spot on the front of the yellow gold front head is a reflection from the cameras lens, the pin is signed on the pin shank S&W. I have no idea what the initial engraved is, it could pass for a S or E or many other letters.

10k Gold Aqua Pin

 The pin has a very good simulated aquamarine set and is mounted in 10k gold setting. It is marked (G) which looks to be Arthur Gaskins mark from the Arts and Crafts period but we are un-sure of that. The safety nib is not the original and is plate gold. Circa 1915 and has 10k yellow gold shank with granulated white and yellow 10k gold setting. It measures 5/16" wide x 9/16 long at the set and is 2 1/2" with pin shank.
