The ring is a hand carved shell cameo bezel or collet set in the rose 14k gold. There are no cracks or crazing in the cameo, it is in very good condition. Here is a little darker side view on the Cameo.

Item No: B-2626 Mandro 10K Gold Cameo Ring Sz 7
The ring is a green background and has a bust of roman warrior, the cameo is under cut from the green back ground. There is one very minor chip on lower left corner of the warrior if viewed with a 10 power loupe you can see it. Good detail and engraving on the gold ring with each wide prong setting containing a daisy, all most a bezel type set.

The cameo is set in 14k rose gold, with a collet set semi-transparent white on black banded onyx cameo  ring. There is one small chip in the black background just to the left of the bottom curl on the hairdo. It is solid and and is not visible with the naked eye.

The ring is marked Sterling silver and is rhodium plated. The set is crystal with a metal cap on culet. This creates the look of diamond more so than the cubic zirconia. The ring mounting is highly chased with design, click large photo to see. Condition is very good, we will not re size this ring, 9 mm diameter or 3 carat size for diamond. Size of ring is 7 1/2.
