  The costume jewelry brooches listed on this page are vintage 1960s and older. Rhinestone jewelry was the only way for the average buyer to express their feelings and yet was affordable to purchase. These pieces from the past are now back in style as many new manufactures are copying the styles and even make fakes of these vintage jewels that mom and grandma wore and was proud to display and own. As with most other items it was a time when jewelry was made to last. The makers thought they would be discarded and thrown out in place of newer items. Little did they know that those items would become collectible and also purchased again to wear in later times.

Description: The dress clip is from the 1930s, crystal rhinestone set in a bright silver tone metal. All sets are brilliant and not as the picture shows. The smaller round sets are the old type of crystal rhinestone called paste sets, the baguettes are flat back and all have good sparkle. These old sets are both collectible and wearable, clip to a pocket, wear them on a chain or cloth neck tie as a pendant or clip to neck of sweater. This is a very nice dress clip.

Description: This crystal rhinestone pin / pendant has rhinestone as dazzling as the day it was created. It is 5/8" in depth, has large pear shaped in three different sizes with round brilliant rhinestone. It appears to be a un-signed Weiss from their glory days of the 1950s. All sets are prong mounted in a rhodium finished metal, the nine stone focal center is raised 3/8" above the base sets. This pin commands attention and can be worn as a pin or pendant.

There are 5 or 6 stones that are starting to show their age, it is much more lovely then the picture indicates. There are no missing rhinestone and they all appear to be in good condition, the metal is a bright silver tone rhodium plate. A vintage 1960s tapered baguettes, marquise and round with clear, topaz, citrine, color rhinestone pin. All sets are in good condition as is the gold plate metal with the large tapered baguettes being un-foiled. All sets are prong mounted and in very good condition as is the gold plate metal. It measures 2 1/8" in diameter.  Condition is very good with smooth gold plate and pin clasp in very good.

Description: The brooch pin is a 1930s pin that has been restored, the enamel was done in the original colors and it has the original blue rhinestones. Un-signed but it is a charming and delightful pin with a large molded faceted bevel edge glass pot set in a pot metal base.

Item No: C-5303 1930s Red Cherry Bakelite Pin.
Description: The brooch pin is a 1930s vintage 6 cherry red Bakelite, The plastic coated string shows loss of the coating next to the large cherries only, which would be normal. The cherries are the large 7/8" ones on this pin, The pin has a 3/4 circle safety clasp back is held by two rivet heads anchored into the Bakelite bar and the chain is celluloid with green Bakelite leaves.
