The pin is done in a bright silver tone metal, a wreath type with flower spray. All sets are glued in and in very good bright sparkley condition, a lovely pin from the 1940s or 1950s. All sets and metal are in good condition, there is no wear on the back as the picture shows, just a little roughness from the mold. Pin has a 3/4 circle safety clasp.

Item No: C-3192 "Slater" Chatelaine Dagger Pin
The dagger pin or scimitar sword pin was designed by Murray Slater of Brooklyn, NY, patent was applied for in 1946 and granted in 1947. Des., Patent No. 146950. This pin has been restored as it was in bad condition, all sets have been replaced with Swarvoski crystal rhinestone except for the cabochons. They were replaced with red glass sets. The enamel has been re-done and the brass chain has been left intact, the rose or copper gold plate is original and is in very good condition. This is a restored original 1940s piece that measures 4 1/4" Tall x 1 1/2" Wide at the hilt or handle. The sword when removed from the sheath is 1 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" long.
