The makers of Costume and fine jewelry did not realize that their rhinestone necklace jewelry would be much sought after in future years. Some would mark the jewelry and others would refrain from leaving their stamp on items that they figured were or would be discarded in a few years. Many of the true collectors look for that un-signed piece of jewelry that has the quality of the best. As one collector said she loves the maker named Unmarked and always looks for his jewelry.

Item: D-1501 Blue A/B Rhinestone Necklace and Bracelet
The necklace and bracelet have beautiful blue Aurora Borealis sets in a silver tone rhodium plate metal. All sets are very good, the pictures show some dark spots but there are none, the photos never seem to show the beauty of these sets. All metal is in very good condition. The necklace is hook adjustable and bracelet has a fold over clasp.

Item: D-1616 Hobe Light Canary Yellow and Crystal Rhinestone Necklace and Clip Earrings
This is a un-signed Hobe necklace and clip earrings, out standing large light canary yellow sets with crystal rhinestone. Earrings are signed Pat. Pend., with Hobe's patented comfort roller on the clip back earrings. 6 rows of crystal rhinestone all in bright sparkley condition, the large sets really set off this out standing set from Hobe, sold to the finer jewelry stores in the early 60s. The necklace is hook adjustable.

Black Diamond Rhinestone Necklace Set
The necklace and earrings have all prong set smoke color rhinestones that were called "Black Diamonds" and they really sparkle, all are in excellent condition set in rhodium plate metal in near mint condition. A lovely set from the 1960s with the necklace measuring almost 3/4" wide at the drop loops and 15 1/2" long. The clip type earrings are 5/8" x 1 5/8". If there existed a smoky topaz sets of this size they could not be anymore beautiful.

The set is granulation work at its best, mixed with French Jet and fine gold plating. The set is in very good condition and showing no sign of wear. Has long pendant earrings, and necklace has a double pendant drop. It is rich looking and gold and black go with almost any color. The necklace measures 14" long with pendant drop of almost 3" x 1 1/2", the earrings measure 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" and are clip type.

Cut Glass Necklace Set
The Necklace is of the small bib type, cut glass sets with rhodium plated metal. It comes with the original carrying case and is in very good condition. The set is from the late 1940s or 50s, and has pierced earrings, the bib pendant measures 5 1/2" long x 3 1/4" wide at the wide part. The earrings measure 1 1/2" long x 1 1/4" wide and are pierced. Tiny clear rhinestones of very fine brilliance are drops from pendant and earrings. The set seems to take on the color of the back ground that it is worn on, quite attractive. These are becoming harder to find as most were kept in the family. The sets are all prong set or handset, the chain is almost 15" long and in very good condition.
