Krementz was known for their real look costume jewelry. Krementz Co. started making men's stud and collar buttons in late 1884 and sometime in the early 1930s they then started making women's jewelry after the collar button went out of style. They produced jewelry mainly studs and collar buttons with the mark of "Krementz" in block lettering starting in 1884. They continued to use the mark at a later date for women's jewelry. The mark of a "umbrella" with double curved handle was first used to mark items in 1896. "Krementz =" in script is their current mark.  Their process of high pressure welded rolled gold overlay is one of the best in the business. The costume jewelry was made to look like the real thing and this makes Krementz jewelry fairly easy to recognize to the trained eye and highly collectable.

The Krementz Co. was believed to be  purchased by the  Anson Zippo Co. "information from a invoice from a fine jewelry dealer in Wisconsin". The company is now owned and operated by "The Colibri Group" and continues to produce "Krementz" along with "Van Dell" jewelry.

Item No: D-510 Krementz Red Rhinestone Pin or Pendant
Description: The Krementz pin or pendant has very nice deep red rhinestone with lots of glitter. All rhinestones and metal are in very good condition. It came with a serpentine chain that we know was not a original Krementz chain but we are including it with the brooch pin. The pin has a 3/4 circle safety clasp and also has a loop to wear the pin as a neckless pendant.

Krementz Rose in filigree oval pendant necklace

Item No: C-885 "Krementz" Cultured Pearl Set Necklace, Bracelet, Earrings  
The set is not signed but it is a Krementz set,  Cultured pearls with blue enameling and gold. The earrings are marked 14K on the clutch, The set checks to be 14K gold. Fine  4mm pearls in 14k earrings, 3 1/2mm in locket, with 3mm pearls in the bracelet. 2 neck chains 15" long with one being 14k gold and signed Krementz, the heavy one is 1/20th 12k gold filled. The Earrings are 5/16" in diameter, the locket is 1" W x 1 1/4" Long with the bracelet being 5/16" W x 7" Long with a spring ring clasp. The set is in very good condition.  The locket is signed on the back, "Joan Carter with Appreciation The Daily Dispatch".

Krementz Rose pendant necklace

 Item No: C-2621 Krementz Heart & Rose Necklace  
The Krementz necklace is marked Krementz on the oval solid hook ring, it is heavy 14kt gold overlay both on chain and pendant. The rose flower is done in rose and yellow gold overlay and sets in a heart. The pendant on necklace is 1/2" x 5/8" with gold overlay chain 17 1/2" long. There is no wear on chain or pendant.

Krementz Necklace Set for Avon

The necklace and earrings are marked Krementz but the tag on necklace says Avon, this set was made for Avon by Krementz. The quality of Krementz still remains so one would have to assume this was still Krementz. The tear drop shaped rhinestones are of good quality and tend to be of peridot green color. The pendant on necklace is 3/8" x 3/4" with gold plated chain 17" long. The screw earrings are 5/16" x 1" with drop and the set is in good condition..

Krementz used their Their process of high pressure welded rolled gold overlay and the rose was their most popular selling item. The rose and yellow gold plated pendant on necklace is 3/4" x 1 1/8" with gold overlay chain 17" long. Signed Krementz on oval loop and there is no wear on chain or pendant.

Item No: C-1902  Krementz Rose Pin
The pin is marked Krementz on pin shank. The rose pin was the pin that made Krementz so popular and is a good example why their jewelry looks like the real thing. The plating is 14kt rose and yellow gold and shows no wear. Fine detail on the gold plate finish, also veins in the leafs with brushed and smooth finish on the rose petals. The pin measures 1 1/8" x 2".

Item No: C-857 Krementz Cross and Chain
The Krementz necklace is marked Krementz in block lettering on side of cross.  Heavy 14kt gold overlay. Both the chain and cross are in very good condition, florentine finish on front of cross and a continual oval link chain with no clasp. The cross measures 1" W x 1 1/2" L with 1/8"wide bars. The chain is 24" Long. The set came in a white satin with green velvet "Krementz" jewelry box.

Krementz Opal Necklace & Pendant

Item No: C-1893 Krementz Genuine Opal Necklace
The Krementz necklace is marked Krementz on flat oval link on the chain, it came with the box marked Krementz. Krementz patented 14kt gold overlay on both the chain and pendant  The opal has a green and blue with splashes of orange fire and is 5 x 7 mm opal.  The pendant is 5/8" W x 1" L, and has a 18" neck chain.
