Eisenberg Jewelry Eisenberg Glitter Eisenberg Ice the Divine Dazzler From The Collectors Index

The name Eisenberg is synonymous with all that glitters, the firm used only the best quality Austria crystals available. The glitter was for real and was expensive considering it was fake. A pin in the 1940s would cost then as much or more than the average worker made in one week. Quality was never the issue with making Eisenberg jewelry, the best plating and metals of the time went into the piece. It has become so popular that even the fake is being copied with the intent to deceive. Be sure of your dealer and educate yourself to look for the fake Eisenberg. The first jewelry made by the company was as accessories to the garments they made and it was not signed but was marked "Sterling" and came on the garment and in a blue velvet box inscribed Eisenberg & Sons Originals.

"Eisenberg Original" with "Eisenberg" in dot matrix semi print script and "Original" in Roman type print was first used in the mid 1930s, about 1934. Around the mid 1930s some of the jewelry was signed just Eisenberg and then "Eisenberg Original" ©, was continued to be used with out the dot matrix script print. Then just a script "E" in the early 1940s, about 1941 and was used either alone or with Eisenberg marks. "Eisenberg Ice" was used in the late 1940s, also the block style "E" smaller then the script E, was used in the mid to late 1940s and 1950s and again in the 1970s. "Eisenberg" in block lettering and old dot print, in the mid to late 1940s and very early 1950s. "Eisenberg Ice", "Eisenberg" "Eisenberg Ice" in script was used from 1970s on except for a period of about 10 years starting in 1975 when most all the jewelry made had no signature. Some of the jewelry they made in the 1960s and to 1990 carried no signature.

Eisenberg Ice clip earrings, these are done with the smoke color prong set rhinestone and accented with the small crystal rhinestone. Set in a bright silver tone rhodium plate metal. All metal and rhinestone are in very good condition.

Item No: C-2705 Eisenberg Ice Bracelet
The bracelet is marked "Eisenberg Ice". Done in rhodium and silver plate metal and safety chain. The large sets are prong mounted with lots of sparkle that the scanner never seems to display right. The sets are cushion octagon shape and they are brilliant and measure 8mm x 6mm.

A very beautiful crystal rhinestone bracelet by Eisenberg, signed on the clasp. A very unique design that appears to be a butterfly in the center part, made up of bell shaped rhinestones. The sets are in good condition and have lots of dazzel. Push type of clasp with safety chain.

Item No: D-1326 "Eisenberg" Crystal Rhinestone Pin
The Eisenberg pin is signed in the old semi dot print and has a screw on center ornament. The metal is rhodium plate and set with brilliant austrian crystal rhinestone in bell shape, ovals, large pear with round sets. All plating is very good and only a couple of the very small round are starting to show their age. The pin has the circle safety clasp that opens in the center for easy closure. The pictures rarely show the beauty of these lovely old sets.

Signed with the block "E" that Eisenberg used in the 1970s. Their enameling process was of the finest quality, they used many coats of a very fine enamel that is very durable.

The clip is a Sterling Silver "Eisenberg" in oval shape, 2 layers in depth. All crystal Austrian rhinestones are in good condition, not as the scanner displays the large ones. There is one large oval in the center surrounded by large brilliant rounds and marquise sets with small pave crystals.

The clip is a "Eisenberg Original" in the motif of bow and flower spray. Marked with "Eisenberg" in dot matrix semi print script and "Original" in Roman type fonts. This pin was purchased in 1934 when the previous owner attended the 1934 Worlds Fair in Chicago.

Item No: C-1799 Eisenberg Ice Brooch & Earrings
The brooch and earrings are marked "Eisenberg Ice". Done in rose gold plate with small pave set clear rhinestones with large smoke color round and clear, the marquise sets are a very light beige or tan color. The plating is very good on both the front and back, all large sets are prong mounted with lots of sparkle. Under a 10 power loupe you can see a slight aging to some of the sets, not view-able to the naked eye.

Item No: C-1466 "Eisenberg" Clip Earrings The clip earrings are in very good condition, rhodium plate with very good Swarvoski sets. The rhinestones are all brillant and the mark is Eisenberg in block print on each earring. They look to be late 1940s, pave set small brillants and prong set large ones. C-868 Eisenberg Ice The pin and Earrings are marked Eisenberg Ice in block, circulated in late 1940s or early 50s and it has the old box it came in. All stones have good life and sparkle but the top marquis cut stone has been chipped but you have to look very close to see it. This set is rhodium or palladium plated, and all hand set. The plating is very good as are all the small rhinestones and large except for the one above, but it still has good sparkle. The pin measures over 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" with clip earrings 1 1/4" x 1". Item No: MJ-684 Eisenberg Ice Bracelet The bracelet is marked Eisenberg Ice and is from 1965, rhodium plated with safety chain. The one oval rhinestone has a slight cloudy spot but not like the scanner shows. The plating is very good and bracelet in good condition other wise. The rhinestones are hand set and it measures 7" long to clasp, it is classic design from Eisenberg. SOLD MJ-684

Eisenberg Fly or Bee Pins in Box
Item Description: The pins are from Eisenberg, in box marked "Eisenberg Jewelry exclusive here". The pins are not marked and according to the previous owner they were purchased in the mid to late 1970s new and in the box. After contacting some Eisenberg experts I have found out that they made some pins that were called "Twin Pins" in 1970s and early 1980s that were not marked during the years they were more or less in limbo, approximately 1975. (smooth gold finish), with dark greenish blue rhinestone sets.

Item No: C-892 Eisenberg Ice Brooch Pin Eisenberg Ice is the mark and © . Fine granulation work on small oval settings with tiny rhinestones surround the large 3/8" in diameter ones. The plating is rhodium and condition is like new. This is Eisenberg and it has the twinkle of brilliance in every set. Almost 2" in diameter and these sets are becoming harder to find. Item No: C-1474 Eisenberg Pin & Earrings View the signature E on pin On pin base The pin and earrings are signed with the script "E" used by Eisenberg in the very early 1940s. The set is heavy and is constructed using a screw on front on pin, the pin is signed on both parts. The pin measures 2" in diameter with the screw earrings 3/4". The set is rhodium plate over silver and has the heft of the older "Eisenberg", it is not fake. Item No: C-1458 "Eisenberg Ice" Necklace Set The set is marked Eisenberg Ice on oval disc or plaque, on a link on the necklace and bracelet, the pierced earrings are not signed. All sets are in very good condition, the rhodium plate metal is very good as are the clasps. Lovely Swarovski sets in red and clear, all are prong mounted. The bracelet measures almost 3/8" W x 7 1/2" L, the necklace is 16" L and earrings are pierced and a little over 1/2" wide x 5/8" T. The Price: SOLD C-1458

The bracelet is a 1941 Eisenberg clear rhinestone sterling silver with safety chain. Marked with the script E and sterling on spade part of clasp and on open catch. The script E is marked on the second link. All small sets are punch claw set with large ones being prong set. C-772 Eisenberg The necklace is from Eisenberg, early 1970s in 14kt gold plate. The enameling is excellent and the chain is rope style, in very good condition. Marked EISENBERG on block with c, the pendant is almost 1 1/2" wide x 2 5/8" long. The enamel work done on Eisenberg jewelery during this time period was very good, it was a baked on high gloss hard enamel coat in many layers. The chain is 20" long and in very good condition.
