 Item No: D-1606 Intaglio with Faux Pearl Shield Pin or Pendant
Description: A 1930s or 1940s shield pin or pendant finished in a spanish gold color metal. The bust of a Roman soldier intaglio is carved in to the simulated amber, it will not show up on the picture but is plainly visible, simulated pearls and 3 rhinestone are set in the shield. It has a pin clasp or can be used as a pendant with a swing down loop bail. All metal is very good, there is no wear on the front or back of the pin, the dark spots in the picture are from reflections caused by the camera.

Description: Plastic molded cameo set from the 1920s or 30s. There is a spot where the cameo is cracked on the top. This is no where as bad as I wanted to show a very close up picture of it. You would have to look very close at the cameo to see it. A composition of celluloid and early plastic. The catch and background plastic is very good with the only flaw being the small crack that appears much larger than it is. Open swing type C clasp.
