Caution! The Art Deco era 1920s Exotic bird pin C-1812 has been reproduced! The fake or reproduction pin is easy to spot! The fake pin is done in gold plate metal and has colored rhinestones set in the body, The original was only done in silver tone pot metal. They are being sold in at least two different sizes. The pin C-1812 is the orignal 1920s exotic bird pin. The reproductions although pretty have a value of approximately $50.00 Make sure the dealer selling the pin states that it is not a Vintage 1920s pin but a fake or reproduction.

Item No: C-1812 Exotic 1920s Bird Brooch Pin C-1812 Price: SOLD The vintage peacock or exotic bird brooch pin is a Art Deco period "1920s" brooch pin. A red rhinestone eye with many clear old cut rhinestones in the body. To the best of my knowledge none have been replaced, although some show their age the pin is in good condition for this book piece. One of the large rhinestones in the tail plumage has a chip out of it but I would not replace it. Pave set rhinestones mounted in silver tone pot metal or referred to as white metal. The pin back is in working condition with a 3/4 swivel clasp. The size is 2 3/8" W x 5 1/4" Tall.
