The pin came from a social secretary to Mrs Wm Butterworth, who was a daughter of John Deere of "John Deere Harvester Co.", A note that came with it stated "Handmade by two refugees from Florence, Italy by the name of "Parenti" 1932",. ****** Hand wrought sterling from makers of many fine jewelry items in silver, who were 2 sisters that were European trained silversmiths who owned a shop on Boylston St. Boston, and a shop on the Cape, from about the 1930s-1950's. . The pin measures 3" W x 4" Tall with a ball safety pin clasp. |
