The large flower pin is marked "Sterling", "PARENTI" on the back of stem. The pin came from a social secretary to Mrs Wm Butterworth, who was a daughter of John Deere of "John Deere Harvester Co.", A note that came with it stated "Handmade by two refugees from Florence, Italy by the name of "Parenti" 1932",.

Hand wrought sterling from  makers of many fine jewelry items in silver, who were 2 sisters that were European trained silversmiths who owned a shop on Boylston St. Boston, and a shop on the Cape, from about the 1930s-1950's. . The pin measures 3" W x 4" Tall with a ball safety pin clasp.
